1. Visa Support
We are always willing to help you with your visa application. If you have any questions or problems, you can always contact us.

2. Airport, Train Pick-Up
When you arrive in China or at your program destination, someone will be there to pick you up, so that you can move into your new Chinese home as fast as possible. We know you will be exhausted!

3. Assistance Registering with the Local Authorities
Every foreigner in China has to register with the local authorities within 24 hours after their arrival. One of our staff members or your host family will accompany you to do this and help with the formalities.

4. Purchasing Tickets
Besides travel included in our programs, you also have the ability to independently travel throughout the country. We will be happy to help you purchase tickets and find accommodation for the best fares.

5. Optional Insurance Package
You should have traveler’s insurance appropriate for travel abroad before you depart for your HHS program. If you do not have travel insurance we offer several options that suit your needs and your budget.

6. General Information
Our staff members are always ready to answer your questions and give you useful advice. Of course, there will be a program coordinator on location at your respective program locations. You will get his/her contact information before your program starts.

7. Telephone Number and Fixed Address for your Friends and Family to Contact you
We will give your family and friends a telephone contact number and a fixed address of either your accommodation or our local office. Even if you are staying in a HHS summer camp in the country side, you can be assured that you will be accessible at all times.

8. Cell Phone (SIM) Cards
We will offer you a prepaid cell phone card for a deposit of 50 RMB (about 8 $), which you can use for local and domestic calls.

9. Metro Card and Map
Free Metro Card with 50 RMB deposit and English Map. In cities where a metro card is available, which you can use on all public transportation, we will offer you a pre paid metro card.

10. Newsletter
We will not only announce news and events on our website, we will also send all of our participants a newsletter via email on a regular basis. You will find information about HHS, China, useful information for your stay and details of current events in the area you are staying.
