HELPFUL TIPS
Good News!
We have a new more city from September—Qingdao! Qingdao is in the middle-east of China, and it is a beautiful seashore city. In 2008, it is also the host of the Olympic Sailing Competition. Click here to know more about Qingdao City.
Tips to Aupair: How to attract host family?
  1. Get started early. Contact the family right away if you are interested in the family. You have to know that many Aupairs are applying for the same position.
  2. Do enough homework before Skype. Try to learn as much as possible about the family, especially about the kid/kids. If you know the name of the kid and mention it during Skype, the family would be impressed.
  3. Smiling all the time. No one hate smiling faces, especially to Chinese!
  4. Try to say some sentences in Chinese! If it is really hard for you, at least you should know how to say “You are very nice”(Ni Zhen Hao) and “I like your family!”(Wo Xihuan Ni Jia)
